Dear Inspiration Residents,

The Collin County Water Control and Improvement District No. 3 is pleased to announce the implementation of a dedicated, non-emergency cell phone for the First Responder Protective Services (FRPS) patrol vehicle.  This will allow residents to contact the off-duty police officers for non-emergency matters while they are patrolling our Inspiration neighborhood (they are not on-duty 24/7).

Please be aware of the following guidelines regarding the use of this phone:

• Do not call the FRPS patrol phone for emergencies. For all emergencies, please continue to dial 9-1-1 immediately.
• This phone is not monitored 24/7 or tied into any emergency dispatch center.
• FRPS off-duty police officers do not work every hour of every day, and the FRPS patrol phone is not monitored 24/7.
• This phone is strictly for non-emergency, non-criminal matters and service-type calls (e.g., missing pets, assistance needed with a broken-down vehicle, or general questions or concerns).
• Do not call the FRPS patrol phone number for police reports: Any matters requiring a formal police report or official police action must be directed to the Collin County Sheriff’s Office Non-Emergency Number: 972-547-5100.
