The Fire Protection Plan Election for Collin County WCID 3 will be held on May 3, 2025.
Early Voting: April 22, 2025 - April 29, 2025
Last day to Apply for a Ballot by Mail: April 22, 2025
Last day to Receive Ballot by Mail: May 3, 2025 (7:00 p.m if carrier envelope is not postmarked, OR Monday, May 5, 2025 (next business day after Election Day) at 5:00 p.m. if carrier envelope is postmarked by 7:00 p.m. at the location of the election on Election Day (unless overseas or military voter deadlines apply)

The next Directors Election for Collin County WCID 3 will be held on May 2, 2026.
First day to file for a place on General Election Ballot: Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
Last day to file for a place on General Election Ballot: Friday, February 13, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

Election Date: May 2, 2026

For Interested Candidates
To run for election to the District’s Board of Directors, a person must file an application for a place on the ballot. Application for a place on The General Election Ballot can be found on the Texas Secretary of State website at:
Potential directors must own land subject to taxation inside the district’s boundaries AND reside in the state [Water Code Sections 51.072 and 55.102]
